What's it all about? The flash games club meets every Thursday at 3:30 in A15. The club is a group of Year 8 students who make games and other flash animations. |

| Actionscript Tutorial From Mook.com | ||
| This is the first step in making the game. At this stage all we have done is made a ball, which is a simple movie clip, and make it bounce around inside the rectangle. Really interesting! | ||
| Now we've introduced a simple paddle, controlled by the mouse, and made sure that the ball will only bounce back if it hits the paddle. I think we'll call it Pong! | ||
| A little bit more sophisticated. We have a reset button to restart the game, a few more fancy touches .... what we need now is ... | ||
| Sound! It is starting to look and feel like a game now - even if it's still Pong! | ||
| All the bells and whistles. That's more like it. There's much more in this game, more skill, some enemies, some challenge. It's still a bit weak from the design and playability point of view, how could it be improved? | ||
